Shelby

We are waiting for a better picture of Shelby from the foster home. Shelby’s chronic colitis is a result of poor nutrition for the past 5 or so years and requires inexpensive but consistent medication that can manage her condition and keep her comfortable throughout the rest of her adult life. She already looks so much better after three months of foster care with excellent nutrition and moderate medication for controlling the inflammation of her digestive tract.
If you would like to assist us by sponsoring Shelby’s ongoing medical needs, please contact us as the costs are not extremely high, but rather consistent and our program would certainly welcome a Sponsor to help pay for those needs while she waits for her special forever home that can take over her care to love and cherish this sweet, devoted girl as she so richly deserves.
Adoption Pending Sabrina

Our Vet Clinic has identified that Sabrina may have some mild allergies that are environmental (not food-related, but perhaps a response to common outdoor or indoor allergens) so we will try to address these over the next few weeks in foster care.

Shiloh has a severe allergy to flea bites so he will need extra care in preventative measures for those little beasts. His coat is growing in beautifully -- the straw-like coarseness and sun bleached brownish coloration is fading away and being replaced by more and more soft, healthy, true merle color growth each week. He is such a charmer and so very handsome!
In house training, he's doing well. We've been using crate training techniques as the best method for him -- and now he knows that whenever he comes out of the crate, he will be able to go outside right away so each morning (or after I have been out of the house for a time period), he comes out with the others and walks right over to the stairs to go outside. :) Whenever I want to pick him up, he sits and waits for me to do so. :)
He's a sweet senior that will be ready for a long term foster home soon.
